Position:<\/strong> Partnerships & Membership Development Lead \u2014 The Global Centre for Risk & Innovation (GCRI) \/ Nexus Governance System A governance system cannot scale on prestige alone. It scales by building a credible membership base, maintaining seat coverage, and onboarding partners through neutral, auditable processes that prevent capture, favoritism, and \u201cpay-to-influence\u201d dynamics. Without disciplined membership operations, councils become either exclusive clubs or chaotic networks\u2014both of which destroy legitimacy.<\/p>\n The Partnerships & Membership Development Lead is accountable for building and sustaining the membership engine of the Nexus governance system: recruitment, qualification, onboarding, renewals, partner interfaces, and participation health across member types and regions. The role makes membership growth a managed system\u2014consistent, fair, and audit-ready\u2014while protecting strict non-execution firewalls and ensuring partner programs remain vendor-neutral and competition-safe.<\/p>\n This is a governance role\u2014not execution<\/strong>. It does not underwrite, place, broker, custody, operate markets, steer procurement, select vendors, sell services, or imply endorsement. It creates the governance processes and operating rhythm that allow others to participate safely and in good standing.<\/p>\n We are seeking senior leaders (typically 10\u201320+ years) with credibility in one or more of:<\/p>\n
Type:<\/strong> Membership growth, partner qualification, and ecosystem neutrality governance leadership role (non-executive; strictly non-executing)
Board:<\/strong> Council leaders are considered for Board nomination after joining and serving in good standing
Location:<\/strong> International (distributed, hybrid)

Time commitment:<\/strong> Typically 12\u201330 hours per month (build-year cadence; surge periods around onboarding waves, annual renewals, and major convenings)
