Position:<\/strong> Secretariat Lead \u2014 Global Risk Alliance (GRA) \/ Nexus Governance System In financial services, governance is only as credible as its operating discipline: timely agenda packs, decision-ready briefs, defensible minutes, controlled distribution, version control, and correction mechanics. When secretariat work is weak, institutions accumulate hidden risk\u2014unclear approvals, inconsistent disclosures, unmanaged conflicts, and artifacts that cannot survive audit or regulatory scrutiny.<\/p>\n The Secretariat Lead \/ Secretariat Director is the operational backbone of GRA\u2019s finance-facing governance system. The role runs the end-to-end \u201cgovernance production line\u201d for standards and finance-usability artifacts: calendars, dockets, agenda packs, briefing notes, minutes, action registers, distribution, versioning, and corrections. The Secretariat ensures that GRA outputs are produced in a manner that is audit-ready, diligence-usable, and safe to rely on<\/strong>, while preserving strict boundaries against regulated execution.<\/p>\n This is governance\u2014not execution. The role does not underwrite, place, broker, custody, operate markets, provide regulated advice, steer procurement, select vendors, or imply endorsement.<\/p>\n This role is designed to be trust-maximizing and capture-resistant in a financial services context.<\/p>\n We are seeking senior operators (typically 8\u201315+ years) with credibility across one or more of:<\/p>\n
Type:<\/strong> Financial-market governance operations leadership role (non-executive; strictly non-executing)
Board:<\/strong> Council leaders are considered for Board\/Trustee nomination after joining and serving in good standing
Location:<\/strong> International (distributed, hybrid)

Time commitment:<\/strong> ~20\u201340 hours per month (build-year cadence; surge periods around quarterly proof cycles, releases, audits, and escalations)
