GRF and GRA retain independent institutional mandates as consortium stewards. Technology, infrastructure and service providers act at arm's length and have no control over institutional governance, research, publications, national priorities or customer, sovereign and community data.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/section><section id=\"nx-standards-ip-3\" class=\"nx-section\" data-hue=\"risk\" data-tone=\"alt\" data-span=\"wide\" aria-labelledby=\"nx-s-4\"><div class=\"nx-container\"><div class=\"nx-section-head\"><div class=\"nx-eyebrow-row\"><span class=\"nx-eyebrow\">04<\/span><span class=\"nx-rule\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><span class=\"nx-eyebrow\">Section 3<\/span><\/div><h2 id=\"nx-s-4\" class=\"nx-section-title\">Status of the Nexus Standards.<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"nx-section-body\"><ul class=\"nx-list\"><li><strong>3.1<\/strong> The Nexus Standards are preparatory working drafts (2026). They are published for comment, testing and voluntary use, and they may change.<\/li><li><strong>3.2<\/strong> A Nexus Standard names external standards by identifier, body and link. It does not reproduce their text or stand in for them; each external standard stays with its steward and under its own licence.<\/li><li><strong>3.3<\/strong> National adoption, adaptation or reference of a Nexus Standard is a decision of the competent national institution under its own law.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/section><section id=\"nx-standards-ip-4\" class=\"nx-section\" data-hue=\"social\" data-span=\"wide\" aria-labelledby=\"nx-s-5\"><div class=\"nx-container\"><div class=\"nx-section-head\"><div class=\"nx-eyebrow-row\"><span class=\"nx-eyebrow\">05<\/span><span class=\"nx-rule\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><span class=\"nx-eyebrow\">Section 4<\/span><\/div><h2 id=\"nx-s-5\" class=\"nx-section-title\">Patent disclosure.<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"nx-section-body\"><ul class=\"nx-list\"><li><strong>4.1<\/strong> A Participant discloses, as early as reasonably possible and in any case before the public last call of a draft, any patent or patent application it knows of, held by it or by others, that may contain claims necessarily infringed by implementing the draft.<\/li><li><strong>4.2<\/strong> A disclosure names the draft, the patent or application and its holder, and the part of the draft concerned. It is sent to <a class=\"nx-link\" href=\"mailto:contact@therisk.global?subject=Patent%20disclosure%20%C2%B7%20the%20Nexus%20Reports%20sites\">contact@therisk.global<\/a> and is published with the draft. The commitment covers implementation of the standard only, and the detailed terms are those of the <a class=\"nx-link\" href=\"https:\/\/therisk.global\/nexus-reports\/legal\/contribution-terms\/\">Contribution Terms<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>5.2<\/strong> During the last call of a draft, a Participant may exclude a named patent or application from its commitment by written notice.
