We are seeking a highly professional, discreet, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Global Executive Office of a rapidly growing multilateral ecosystem operating at the forefront of risk governance, international policy, and digital infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing individual with aspirations in international relations, public diplomacy, or global finance to gain direct exposure to executive leadership, strategy execution, and multilateral coordination at the highest level.

The role supports the executive leadership of an international group of organizations, including:

  • The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) – a leading think-and-do tank specializing in disaster risk reduction, foresight, and simulation governance.
  • The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) – a multilateral capital and technology alliance focused on disaster risk finance, sovereign insurance, and risk transfer infrastructure.
  • The Global Risks Forum (GRF) – a Geneva-based platform bringing together leaders in policy, science, and finance for simulation-based public trust and foresight.

These institutions work across over 120 countries, engaging with the United Nations system, multilateral banks, scientific institutions, and sovereign agencies to deploy forward-looking solutions for complex risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Global Executive’s calendar across multiple time zones and jurisdictions
  • Coordinate high-level meetings, briefings, and diplomatic correspondence
  • Draft, format, and edit official communications, memos, and reports with precision and confidentiality
  • Assist in project tracking, document control, and follow-up tasks with leadership teams
  • Conduct brief research tasks and prepare summaries on policy, finance, and global governance topics
  • Support logistics for events, public speaking, and stakeholder engagements
  • Uphold the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and institutional representation

Phase I – Onboarding (1 Month, Task-Based)

  • Complete select assignments (briefing, formatting, scheduling)
  • Demonstrate communication, discretion, and coordination capabilities
  • Undergo rapid mentorship and process orientation

Phase II – Part-Time (6 Months, Contractual)

  • Manage executive calendar and diplomatic correspondence
  • Coordinate global meetings, stakeholder briefings, and documentation
  • Support project tracking, follow-ups, and logistical planning
  • Draft, edit, and format official communications, memos, and reports

Phase III – Full-Time Opportunity (Milestone-Based)

  • Lead key executive workflows across corridors and working groups
  • Coordinate interagency partnerships and foresight briefings
  • Serve as institutional liaison for high-level public engagements

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an emerging global leader, not just a task manager.

Essential:

  • Degree (completed or in progress) in International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, Global Finance, or Law
  • Fluent written and verbal English and French
  • Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, formatting, and documentation
  • Proven ability to manage executive-level communications with professionalism
  • High level of personal integrity and maturity to handle sensitive information
  • Comfort working independently and across time zones in a high-performance environment

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a global nonprofit, diplomatic, research, or multilateral context
  • Familiarity with UN systems, treaty frameworks, ESG finance, or foresight/risk management
  • Strong digital literacy (Microsoft Teams, Airtable, Notion, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
