Position Title: Revenue Lead – Membership & Strategic Accounts (Independent Contract)

Contract Type: 12–24 Month Contract with Structured Pathway to Permanent Role

Compensation: Commission-Based + Tiered Performance Bonuses

Location: Remote-First / Global / Regional Clusters (Priority in: North America, Europe, MENA, Asia-Pacific)

The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) is hiring a Revenue Lead to oversee membership activation, strategic account management, and revenue channel development. This role is central to GCRI’s 100% member-led governance model, where all programs—policy, simulation, risk finance, foresight diplomacy—are owned, governed, and funded by members from across academia, public sector, private enterprise, media, and civil society (the Quintuple Helix). You will lead the onboarding, engagement, and long-term development of both individual and institutional members, converting them into active contributors, strategic leaders, and lifelong stewards of GCRI’s intergenerational public mission.

Affiliated Entities:

  • GCRI – Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (science, simulation, and policy foresight)
  • GRF – Global Risks Forum (multilateral engagement, diplomacy, public dialogue)
  • GRA – Global Risks Alliance (risk finance, ESG capital, sovereign-scale resilience infrastructure)

Key Responsibilities

1. Member Recruitment and Channel Expansion
  • Drive onboarding of individual professionals (fellows, scientists, investors, policymakers, civic leaders)
  • Engage institutional members across governments, think tanks, startups, foundations, UN agencies, national networks
  • Segment, prioritize, and pursue strategic membership campaigns by region, sector, or program track (e.g., DRR, AI, ESG, resilience corridors)
2. Account Management and Engagement Lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for key members
  • Track engagement journeys and ensure that each member is aligned with relevant working groups, platforms, and governance pathways
  • Support onboarding to GRF Leaders Council, GRA risk clusters, GCRI research programs, or regional foresight labs
3. Revenue Strategy and Membership Innovation
  • Work with leadership to refine and deploy membership tiers, benefits, and bundled offerings across GRF, GRA, and GCRI
  • Design sector- or region-specific offerings (e.g., Youth Councils, Ministry Accelerators, ESG Membership Labs)
  • Align revenue goals with non-extractive, public-interest value delivery—ensuring that every membership reinforces GCRI’s mission
4. Governance-Driven Sales
  • Educate and guide members through governance pathways
  • Encourage institutional members to assume formal governance roles
  • Promote long-term stewardship of Nexus Platforms by cultivating committed members, not passive donors
5. Data, Reporting, and Performance Analytics
  • Use CRM and analytics tools to track member conversion, retention, and revenue flows
  • Provide regular reporting and forecasting aligned with regional and programmatic growth goals
  • Co-author performance reviews with GCRI leadership to assess opportunities for scaling or formal appointment

This role includes a structured pathway to long-term participation and leadership across the ecosystem, including:

  • Full-Time Appointment
  • Regional Leadership Roles
  • Contribution-Based Licensing or residual share of new revenue channels
  • Ideal Background

Profile

We welcome applicants from a wide range of professional experiences. Ideal profiles may include:

  • Nonprofit Fundraising and Membership Professionals (e.g., UN agencies, global consortia, think tanks)
  • Corporate ESG/CSR/Impact Leads familiar with multilateral or civil society engagement
  • Accelerator or Ecosystem Builders (from VC, R&D hubs, public-private coalitions)
  • Risk or Finance Professionals seeking multilateral pathways in capital mobilization, foresight, or global development
  • Sales Executives or Partnership Leads from professional networks or subscription-based knowledge platforms
  • Policy Advisors or Diplomatic Liaisons with experience in convenings, negotiation, and multilateral onboarding

Compensation Structure

  • Tiered Commission on each individual or institutional member enrolled, scaled by membership level

  • Revenue Share Pathways from bundled service agreements (e.g., simulation licensing, accelerator access, corridor onboarding)
  • Permanent Appointment Review upon exceeding agreed revenue and member engagement KPIs

Our Member-Governed Philosophy

Members are not just clients—they are co-authors, decision-makers, and co-stewards of the ecosystem’s future. Unlike conventional NGOs or corporations, GCRI, GRF, and GRA are:

  • 100% governed by their members through clause-based participatory governance
  • Non-extractive and non-equity-funded, prioritizing public foresight, resilience, and justice
  • Simulation-certified, meaning every policy, product, and financial pathway is traceable and tested
  • Sovereign-safe, operating independently of government or corporate control while aligning with multilateral standards

How to Apply

  1. A brief statement (300–500 words) explaining your background and why this mission matters to you
  2. Relevant experience managing memberships, strategic accounts, or partner ecosystems
  3. Any preferred regions, sectors, or thematic tracks (e.g., climate, AI, DRR, education) you would like to focus on

Selected candidates will receive an onboarding toolkit including membership materials, CRM access, and revenue pathway orientation.
