The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI)
Citable outputs of Cities and Built Environment: urban resilience profiles; built-environment briefs; city research case studies.
Fig.How a finding is reviewed before it is published. Design, not a record.
Cities and Built Environment publications are the platform's reviewed, citable outputs, such as urban resilience profiles, built-environment briefs and city research case studies. Each carries its authors, date, method, evidence labels and editorial status, and a correction creates a new version with its history. Contributions to series such as Global Sector Risk and Resilience as well as Evidence Brief also appear in Nexus Reports.
For research and publications, in GCRI's spatial-intelligence reading, the map opens on true-colour imagery, night lights and land cover with true colour from NASA GIBS, framed on India; 3 further NASA layers wait in the list.

Layers and dates
Urban publications state the urban definition and product resolution, and never rank cities; they compare approaches and their evidence.
Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Version of record | The fixed version of a work that a publisher formally declares published; later changes appear as dated corrections or new versions, never as silent edits, in the sense NISO's journal article versions recommendation uses. |
| Peer review | Evaluation of a work by independent experts in the field before publication. |
| Correction | A published notice that amends an error in a work whose main findings stand. |
| Evidence label | A tag on an assertion naming the kind of evidence behind it, such as observed, officially reported or modelled. |

The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
