For the same field across the consortium, in GCRI's spatial-intelligence reading, the map opens on night lights, population density and true-colour imagery with true colour from NASA GIBS, framed on India; every other NASA layer, live feed and forecast waits in the layer list.Satellite and model products as NASA publishes them, each with its own date; indicators, not assessments of any place; claim ceiling INTEGRATED.

01In brief

The short answer.

Digital Public Infrastructure counterparts are the platforms at GRF and GRA that work on the same fields under other mandates, among them AI and Digital Governance at GRF as well as Fintech Nexus and Payments and Market Infrastructure at GRA. GCRI studies a field as science, GRF governs it and GRA builds shared financial understanding of it, so each counterpart shows another side of digital public infrastructure.

One field, three institutions: Digital Public Infrastructure and its counterpartsGCRI studies the field as science, GRF governs and convenes it, GRA builds shared financial understanding; the Nexus Universe tests work across them and the competent authorities decide. Design of the arrangement, not a record.

04Three sides

How DPI science meets governance and finance.

AI and digital governance is GRF's; payments infrastructure and fintech are GRA's. Digital Public Infrastructure supplies the technical and inclusion evidence.

Terms used on this page.

Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.

TermDefinition
Counterpart platformA platform at another Consortium institution that works in a shared field under a different mandate: science at GCRI, governance at GRF or financial understanding at GRA.
Field gatewayA GCRI page for one field that links the platforms studying it as science, governing it and building financial understanding of it, with the methods they share.
Science-policy interfaceThe arrangements through which scientific evidence reaches public decisions, including advisory committees, chief scientific advisers, academies and intergovernmental assessments.
09Questions

Questions and answers.

Why three institutions?
Each brings a different mandate: science and evidence at GCRI, governance and convening at GRF, and shared financial-sector understanding at GRA.
