What the series covers and at what unit.
Editions describe build provenance, test coverage, security and assurance review, and the limits of the build’s validated use.
| Element | In this series |
|---|---|
| Unit of analysis | A Foundry build or release |
| Method | Build provenance, test and review records, assurance cases |
What an edition of this series does not do.
- Claim production readiness without the deployment and acceptance evidence.
- Describe features that are planned as available.
- Omit known limitations.
The Foundry systems an edition draws on.
What each system is designed to supply to Foundry Build and Readiness; an edition cites a record only once it exists and has passed review.
| System | Rooms | Designed to supply |
|---|---|---|
| NXS-FAC (blueprints, builds and signing) | Builds, Releases | Build provenance, verification results and release bundles |
| NXS-COR (compute, nodes and runtimes) | Fleet | Where a build runs and the posture of that infrastructure |
| NXS-APP (application catalogue and lifecycle) | Installations | Installation and upgrade records for each application |
| NXS-NSF (trust, authorisation and assurance) | Assurance | The bounded assurance case and its reliance limits |
