Quarterly release checklist

This document is a draft. It is not legal advice and it is not in force. It becomes required only when the owner adopts it by a recorded decision in nexus-governance. Until then nothing here blocks anyone’s work.

• [ ] Edition plan and sections agreed by the desk editor.
• [ ] Every author has current declarations for this edition.
• [ ] Calls, contributions and corrections routed and screened.

• [ ] Five passes complete and each recorded: evidence, method, stewardship, copy and claims, release.
• [ ] Each pass by a named person who is not the author.
• [ ] Open review log updated with version, result and date.
• [ ] Board decision recorded in nexus-governance, with reasons.

• [ ] the Global Risks Forum (GRF) gate G6 authorisation recorded.
• [ ] Collection editor sign-off.
• [ ] Agreements gate passed for the release action. Refusals, if any, resolved, not bypassed.

• [ ] UNI minted, PDF built, data under CC0 1.0 with data dictionary.
• [ ] Licence manifest licence.json valid: CC BY 4.0 text, CC0 data, third parties recorded.
• [ ] Agreements snapshot taken at release and added to the pack as agreements-snapshot.json.
• [ ] RO-Crate and manifest-sha256.txt written.
• [ ] Accessibility check done on pages and PDF.
• [ ] No restricted, prohibited or legal-review item in the pack.

• [ ] Zenodo sandbox deposit checked first.
• [ ] Deposit plan signed by the editor. Production deposit only after the legal row is signed by the owner.
• [ ] Token held by the institution, not in WordPress or the repository.
• [ ] Version DOI and concept DOI recorded.

• [ ] Public pages show the licence badge and rights line.
• [ ] Status moved to RELEASED. Network sites updated.
• [ ] Announcement short and plain.

• [ ] Corrections path open and the corrections log linked.
• [ ] security.txt Expires date checked.
• [ ] Release note filed. Lessons recorded for the next quarter.
