Publishing in Nexus Reports is how Critical Infrastructure findings reach the Consortium's versioned report series, here Strategic Systems as well as Scenario and Stress-Test. A contribution is a reviewed finding with its method, evidence labels and limits; series editors check scope and consistency, and no funder, sponsor or member can buy or block a finding.

Critical Infrastructure contributes to Strategic Systems and Scenario and Stress-Test editions, read by regulators, operators and national resilience planners. A specialist looks for the dependency assumptions and the restoration model behind any cascade scenario. Contributions draw on resilience engineering and the interdependency and cascade topic, and findings about named systems go only to their owners.

Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Editorial independence | The condition in which editors decide what is published on the validity and relevance of the work, free from interference by owners, funders or sponsors, as ICMJE and COPE guidance describe it. |
| Living report | A report updated in versions as evidence changes, with each version kept and dated. |
| Grey literature | Material produced outside commercial and academic publishing, such as reports, filings and working papers. |
| Version of record | The fixed version of a work that a publisher formally declares published; later changes appear as dated corrections or new versions, never as silent edits, in the sense NISO's journal article versions recommendation uses. |

The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
