Food Nexus regional applications address problems in the food and agriculture field that the countries of a region share, such as food security and access, and the cooperation that responds to them. Each application is listed with its status from the programme record, and regional bodies and governments keep their own mandates and decisions.
Plains, deltas and basins, the corridors that carry food to ports, and how far each division sits from one, shown for the Black Sea region as an example geography for this subject.
Crop, livestock and aquaculture production systems.
Availability, affordability and nutrition.
Soil health, land degradation and productivity.
Water and energy demand in production.
Refrigeration, logistics and food safety.
Precision agriculture, biotechnology and technology safeguards.
Regional food security rests on shared early warning, regional strategic reserves where they exist, and the trade corridors that move food from surplus to deficit areas.
Programmes are listed as exploring, forming, constituted, active, paused or archived. Country and regional entries appear when a programme record supports them.

| Prevalence of undernourishment | The share of a population whose habitual food consumption is insufficient for the dietary energy needed for a normal, active and healthy life; SDG indicator 2.1.1. |

The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
