GCRI Canada is the lead organisation of The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI), a Canadian not-for-profit organisation with its registered office in Ontario. It is the Consortium Secretariat and lead contracting organisation for the Nexus Consortium, under a strict not-for-profit mandate. Its identity, mandate, governing role and contact routes are below. Consortium Secretariat

Coordinates the integrated programme and keeps its records, calendars, decision logs and source registers, and routes correspondence to the regional and country desks.

Contracting

Global contracting party

One contracting party worldwide, with standard agreements, terms and policies that every deployment inherits. A national host or lead organisation acts under its own agreement and never replaces GCRI Canada as contracting party.

05Support

Whom it supports, and on what terms.

GCRI Canada supports the national and regional consortiums, GCRI US, The Global Risks Forum (GRF) and The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) in defined areas: contracting, platform hosting and operations, privacy and records, security and access, evidence and methods, Secretariat services, reports and institutional cooperation. Support runs under written agreements. Listing an area does not mean an agreement for it is executed.

GCRI Canada is not the legal parent, treasury, employer, agent or regulator of any participant, and Foundry is never described as operated by it alone.

How to reach GCRI Canada.

Programme enquiries go to the Consortium Secretariat at the contact form. Privacy requests go to the Interim Privacy Officer at the privacy request form, and security reports to the security report form. The acknowledgement gives a reference and names the next step. Is GCRI Canada the same as GCRI?
GCRI is one institution that works through two organisations. GCRI Canada is its lead organisation; GCRI US is its United States institution, with its own legal identity.
Will I contract with GCRI Canada?
Normally, yes. GCRI Canada is the global contracting party in support of the consortiums. The scoping note for an engagement names the contracting organisation.
Does GCRI Canada regulate or certify anything?
No. It provides research, technology, policy research and Secretariat services. It holds no regulatory, sovereign or fiduciary authority.
Why is no street address shown?
GCRI Canada publishes its registered office as Toronto, ON M4R 1V2. The street address is kept in executed documents and corporate records.
