01In brief

The short answer.

Health Nexus publications are the platform's reviewed, citable outputs, such as health-system resilience briefs, access maps and One Health evidence. Each carries its authors, date, method, evidence labels and editorial status, and a correction creates a new version with its history. Contributions to series such as Global Sector Risk and Resilience as well as Country Systems Risk and Resilience also appear in Nexus Reports.

Research and publications: systematic evidence synthesisA question is framed with its owner and a protocol registered; records are searched, screened and checked for eligibility by two reviewers; data are extracted, synthesised and graded for certainty before a brief is written. Design of the process, not a record of a run.

04What is published

Every output shows its status.

  • Each publication carries its authors, date, method, evidence labels and editorial status.
  • Corrections create a new version with its history.
  • Series contributions also appear in Nexus Reports; see Publish in Nexus Reports.
05Output types

What health publications look like.

Health publications distinguish evidence prepared for planning from anything that could be read as clinical or public health advice, which belongs to health authorities. Projections are labelled as scenarios, and recommendations, where a brief contains them, carry their GRADE certainty.

  • Preparedness evidence briefs.
  • Method notes on capacity models.
  • Health chapters in Country Systems editions.
