01In brief

The short answer.

Health Nexus tools are the public technical views the platform releases on health and biosecurity: maps and model descriptions, each with its time and space reference, sources, licence and uncertainty. Analysis runs in Nexus Foundry for authorized projects, and data that is not released is not available through these pages.

02Canvas

Scoping to review.

Canvas · scoping to reviewDesign, not a record
Data and technical methods: build, test and release in Nexus FoundryA request opens a workspace; data are ingested and validated; the model is built and tested on held-out data; an independent gate approves release with limits; the workspace is stood down and the record kept. Design of the process, not a record of a run.

05Fitness for purpose

What every health tool should state about itself.

  • The reporting system and period behind each health indicator.
  • Whether capacity means physical beds or staffed beds.
  • The aggregation level used to protect small populations.
06Build environment

Working with the tools.

Analysis runs in Nexus Foundry for authorized projects. Public pages show released views only, each with its time and space reference and its rights.

07Key terms

Terms used on this page.

Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.

TermDefinition
Public-safe releaseA recorded decision on the detail at which a layer may be published without exposing sensitive sites or people.
Coordinate reference systemThe definition that ties coordinates to locations on Earth, catalogued with EPSG codes.
Model cardA short document describing a model's intended use, training data, performance and limits.
08Sources

Where this page's references lead.

The bodies and documents this page is read against. Status and editions change; each link goes to the issuing body.

Bring your expertise to this field.

The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
