Draft. Not in force.
This document is a draft. It is not legal advice and it is not in force. It becomes required only when the owner adopts it by a recorded decision in nexus-governance. Until then nothing here blocks anyone’s work.
Respect and safety
- Treat people with respect. No harassment, threats, discrimination or abuse, including on grounds of origin, ethnicity, nationality, religion, language, gender, sexuality, age, disability or political view.
- Debate ideas and evidence, not people. Disagreement is welcome. Contempt is not.
- Some communities we work with are at risk. Do not out, track or expose any person, and do not use these spaces to target a community.
- Protect privacy. Do not share private messages, personal data or unpublished work without consent.
Honesty and integrity
- Be who you say you are. No impersonation. No sockpuppets or coordinated manipulation.
- No plagiarism, fabrication or falsification. Cite sources. Declare interests and AI use.
- Do not use these spaces for advertising, solicitation or spam.
Reporting and consequences
- Report concerns to the managing editor or to the contact form. Reports are handled in confidence and logged.
- The managing editor may warn, limit or suspend an account, remove content with a stated reason, and refer a matter to the Reports Council. Serious misconduct follows the Ethics and Misconduct Procedure.
- A person may appeal a sanction to the Reports Council within 30 days.
- Retaliation against a person who reports in good faith is itself a breach.
