Role Description

The Director of the Development Committee is entrusted with the pivotal task of steering GCRI’s growth trajectory. This role encompasses a blend of strategic foresight, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of GCRI’s mission. The Director is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for organizational expansion, while also ensuring the financial sustainability of GCRI’s initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy that aligns with GCRI’s mission and long-term objectives.
  • Fundraising Leadership: Spearhead fundraising campaigns, grant applications, and donor relations to ensure a steady flow of financial resources.
  • Opportunity Identification: Continuously scout for opportunities for organizational expansion, be it through partnerships, collaborations, or new initiatives.
  • Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the financial team to set budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure the financial health of GCRI.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with donors, sponsors, partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring their alignment with GCRI’s vision.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other committees and departments to ensure that growth strategies are holistic and encompass all facets of GCRI’s operations.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
