Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Support:
    • Job Analysis: Understand job requirements through detailed analysis.
    • Job Posting: Advertise roles across various platforms.
    • Sourcing Candidates: Actively seek potential candidates and attend relevant events.
    • Screening Applications: Review and shortlist applications.
    • Interview Coordination: Schedule and facilitate interviews.
    • Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings and coordinate subsequent interview rounds.
    • Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from interviewers.
    • Reference Checks: Verify candidate details through references.
    • Job Offers: Draft and extend job offers.
    • Onboarding Preparation: Ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
  2. Onboarding and Offboarding:
    • Pre-arrival Preparations: Set up for new employees’ smooth start.
    • Orientation: Introduce new hires to GCRI’s culture and values.
    • Job-specific Training: Provide role-specific training and support.
    • Cultural Integration: Promote GCRI’s inclusive culture.
    • Benefits and Compensation: Clarify compensation and benefits details.
    • Feedback and Evaluation: Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions.
    • Offboarding: Facilitate the smooth exit of departing employees.
  3. Training and Development:
    • Training Needs Analysis: Identify areas requiring training.
    • Training Content Creation: Develop training materials.
    • Training Delivery: Coordinate and conduct training sessions.
    • E-Learning Support: Manage GCRI’s online learning platform.
    • Training Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training sessions.
    • Continuous Professional Development: Stay updated on HR trends.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain a database of training sessions.
    • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Allocate resources for training initiatives.
  4. Employee Relations:
    • Feedback Mechanism: Establish channels for employee feedback.
    • Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and misunderstandings.
    • Engagement Initiatives: Plan and execute employee engagement activities.
    • Communication: Facilitate open communication between employees and management.
    • Policy Awareness: Ensure employees understand GCRI’s policies.
    • Support & Counseling: Offer support and counseling to employees.
    • Diversity & Inclusion: Promote an inclusive workplace environment.
  5. Administration:
    • Global Employee Data Management: Maintain a centralized employee database.
    • International Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with international laws.
    • Cross-border Employee Movements: Facilitate employee mobility across borders.
    • Global Compensation and Benefits: Ensure fair compensation across all regions.
    • International Talent Acquisition: Attract global talent.
    • Cultural Sensitivity and Inclusion: Foster a diverse and inclusive environment.
    • Global Performance Management: Implement a consistent performance management system.
    • International Learning and Development: Offer tailored learning opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Preference for 3rd and 4th year HR students.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior HR experience is an asset, but not mandatory. Participation in HR-centric workshops, seminars, or conferences is beneficial.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office Suite and HR Management Software.
  • Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with effective time management skills.
