News and institutional notices
News from The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) appears only when dated, verified and approved by the organisation concerned, GCRI Canada or GCRI US. A notice reports what happened: a released publication, a recorded decision, a changed service level. It never presents a plan as done or an enquiry as a partnership. Corrections are new versions with their history.

What a notice must carry.
- A publication date and, where it differs, the date of the event or decision reported
- The organisation that acts, GCRI Canada or GCRI US
- A link to the underlying record, publication or decision where one is public
- The evidence label for any finding mentioned
- A correction history if the notice changes
Facts with records, not intentions.
Changes of service level
When a service opens, pauses or closes, recorded in the claims and readiness register.
Recorded decisions
Institutional decisions once recorded, with accountability set out in trust and accountability.
Some items never appear as news.
An enquiry is not a partnership. An application is not acceptance. A planned hub is not an office. A country research profile is not a national programme. None of these is announced as an achievement. Counts of members, partners or results appear only with a record.
News from the other pillar institutions is published on their own sites, for example GRA news and industry notices.
Related records that notices draw on.
Notices summarise; records hold the detail. Released work is in publications. The state of each service is in the claims and readiness register. National and regional programmes are under programme status. Media questions about a notice go to the press and media route.
A notice is withdrawn or corrected openly if its underlying record changes; it is never silently edited.
