Institutional annual review

02Contents

What every review covers.

  1. 01

    Governance

Changes to boards, instruments, delegated decisions and accountable roles, consistent with Board and governance.

  2. 02

    Delivery evidence

Work actually delivered in the year, each item linked to its record and labelled by evidence class. Planned work stays separate from delivered work.

  3. 03

    Objectives

Progress against the stated objectives of Strategy 2026–2030, including objectives missed or withdrawn, with reasons.

  4. 04

    Lessons

What did not work, what was corrected and what changes in the next cycle. Adverse findings are kept, not edited out.

  5. 05

    Material changes

Changes to mandate, legal structure, statuses, relationships or service levels, each with its date and record.

03Rules

Records before claims.

  • A figure appears only with its source, date and method; a count without a record is left out.
  • A partnership or relationship is reported only with a current record of it.
  • Statuses and memberships are reported in their exact recorded wording, and belong to GCRI only.
  • Funding sources and any conflicts relevant to the year are disclosed.
  • A correction to a released review creates a new recorded version, never a silent edit.

05Relationship

Distinct from the programme’s reports.

The annual review accounts for the institution. It is not the annual flagship of Reports, which reports on country systems and programme findings. The other pillar institutions publish their own: the annual institutional review of The Global Risks Forum (GRF) and the review of The Global Risks Alliance (GRA).

06Status

Not yet released.

No review has been released. Information and enquiries are open today. The first review is published once the year it covers has closed and the review has been approved; no release date is promised.

07Questions

Questions and answers.

Has GCRI published an annual review?
Not yet. This page will carry each review once it is approved and released, with its date and version history.
Does the review cover GCRI US?
Yes. It covers GCRI as one institution and names GCRI Canada or GCRI US where one organisation acted alone.
Can I challenge something in a review?
Yes. Write to the integrity concern form naming the passage and your evidence. An accepted correction creates a new recorded version.
Where can I see accountability records in the meantime?
See Public accountability for decision records, interests and corrections.
