Supporting methods

The research behind Labs: the questions it asks, the models and measurements it uses, how uncertainty is stated and how a result is reviewed and reproduced before it is published.

03Open questions

What laboratory research cannot yet answer well enough for decisions.

Labs exist to try methods and technologies before anything depends on them. The research agenda is about the experiments themselves and about how to run them honestly.

04Evidence

Every result keeps its label.

Results are labelled as observed, published statistics, estimated, modelled, forecast, scenario or expert judgement. Missing data is shown as missing, never filled silently.

06Questions and answers

Questions and answers.

Can I propose a research question?
Yes. Write to contact@therisk.global with the question, the context and who would use the answer. A proposal receives a reference; it does not commit the platform to the work.

Bring a method, a dataset or a question.

Information and enquiries are open today. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.

Not for profit

Our articles, maps and twins are free to read and free to republish. Readers and partners keep it that way.
