Programmes and projects

How Advanced Industry and Robotics organizes work into programmes: global priorities, regional applications and country work, each shown with its actual status.

How the work runs.

Canvas · scoping to reviewDesign, not a record
Programmes and projects: a programme through its gatesA request with a named owner becomes a scoping note; inputs are qualified at a gate; delivery runs in workstreams; a controlled test and an independent review precede publication; the owner decides. Design of the process, not a record of a run.

03Geography

Infrastructure exposure in Germany.

Night lights, population density, flood water and true-colour imagery over Germany, from NASA GIBS. Each layer carries its own date.

The interactive map needs JavaScript; the layer list and sources are below.

04Three levels

How industrial work is organised globally, regionally and nationally.

Industrial safety is guided globally by OECD and ILO instruments, regionally by directives such as Seveso, and nationally by safety regulators and labour inspectorates.

  • Global: guiding principles and occupational safety conventions.
  • Regional: regional major-accident and machinery regulation.
  • National: inspection, licensing and continuity planning.
05Status

Every programme shows where it stands.

A programme is shown as exploring, forming, constituted, active, paused or archived, according to its record. A plan is never presented as an activity.

08Questions

Questions and answers.

How does a country take part?
Through its national programme. Country enquiries go to the Consortium Secretariat at contact@therisk.global or a regional desk.
