Fields across the Consortium
One gateway per field, linking its science, governance and finance platforms, its STEM foundation and its reports.

One field, three mandates, one reference page.
Systemic risk is defined by coupling: a drought that cuts hydropower, raises food prices and strains public budgets is one event seen from several fields. A gateway exists for each field that at least two platforms work on. The science at the Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI), the governance dialogue at the Global Risks Forum (GRF) and the financial understanding at the Global Risks Alliance (GRA) can then be found in one place and read against the same frameworks.
Each gateway sets out the systemic question in that field, the frameworks competent bodies have adopted, and the couplings to other fields. The method pages behind them sit in the STEM Commons.
Where to start if your question crosses fields.
| If your question starts in | Read next | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Climate and hazards | Water, Food, Insurance | Hazard change propagates first through water and crops, then through insured and uninsured loss |
| Critical infrastructure | Energy, Cyber, Cities | Interdependent networks fail together through power, control systems and urban density |
| Health and biosecurity | Food, Nature, Society | Zoonotic spillover, nutrition and social protection set the size of an outbreak’s consequences |
| Artificial intelligence | Compute, Work, Information integrity | Model capability depends on compute and data, and its effects land on labour and public trust |
| Financial stability | Sovereign finance, Markets, Disaster | Physical shocks reach balance sheets through insurance, credit and public debt |

Never send personal data, sensitive infrastructure detail or anything you have no right to share. A contribution is reviewed before use; sending it confers no authorship or editorial rights, and sponsorship never buys a finding.
