Media and Information Systems is a chapter of Society and Human Development: a specialist sub-community with its own group, editor and research agenda. Its work starts from the cornerstone topic, media and information systems. Crisis information is what people learn about a crisis through news media, platforms, messaging apps, official channels and word of mouth. A chapter becomes a platform of its own only by meeting the graduation rule.

The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
