The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI)
Who takes part in Quantum Technologies, what they contribute and how moderation and privacy work.
GCRI · In development · service level R0
The Quantum Technologies community is the network of quantum physicists and security engineers who contribute expertise, review and data to its work on quantum as well as cyber and digital resilience. They take part through moderated subject groups and working groups. Rules apply equally to all, interests are declared, and taking part gives no authority over findings.

Added as sub-communities form
The quantum community combines physicists and engineers, cryptographers, materials scientists, IT security managers and technology policy analysts. What they look for here is a sober separation of demonstrated capability from roadmap, and practical help with migration. Their methods are physics and quantum technology; topics include quantum workforce.
Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Community of practice | A group of people who share a concern or a craft and learn to do it better by interacting regularly; the term comes from Lave and Wenger's work on situated learning. |
| Conflict of interest | A situation in which financial, professional or personal interests could compromise, or appear to compromise, judgement in research or review. |
| Personal data | Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, such as a name, an identification number, location data or an online identifier, as the EU General Data Protection Regulation defines it. |
| Entanglement | A correlation between quantum systems so strong that their states cannot be described independently. |
The bodies and documents this page is read against. Status and editions change; each link goes to the issuing body.
The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
