Topics

Topics at Critical Infrastructure: the pages in this section are listed below, each with its own scope and status.

01In brief

The short answer.

The Critical Infrastructure topics are the nine subject dossiers of its field, among them electricity and lifelines, water and wastewater assets, and telecommunications and cables. Each dossier sets out how the risk develops, what is measured and in which units, the public sources and their licences, the methods, who decides and the limits of the evidence.

02About this section

Topics at Critical Infrastructure.

GCRI is a research, development and policy institution. It is not a regulator, and it does not certify, license or approve; its findings carry their methods and uncertainty.

03How the topics fit

How the infrastructure topics connect.

The topics cover each lifeline (electricity, water, telecoms, transport, health services, urban assets), then the interdependencies between them and the standards that shape them.
