TS4-1: Inclusive and multisectoral approach to effective preparedness | UNDRR

This session will focus on strengthening effective pre-disaster preparedness to effectively respond and build back better in recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction. It will explore the importance of inclusive and cross-sectoral approaches, and how effective preparedness saves lives and reduces losses. The session will highlight progress made in global disaster preparedness efforts, including anticipatory actions and multi-hazard approaches, while addressing challenges such as inadequate investment and the exclusion of vulnerable groups.
