Rights and visibility
Not every record can be public, and a record is licensed as the thing it describes is. This page sets out the licence classes and admission states of the 197 data sources in the registry, the access and legal fields of a record, and what the registry grants and withholds.
A source is admitted, pending or excluded.
Read from the legal register at build time. Public availability is not permission: a source is used only for the purposes its register row admits.

Licences by record class.
The legal class groups sources by what their licence allows. The class is a working classification of the register, not legal advice.

What licence each type of record carries.
The licence field of a record is the licence of the thing described, as its register states it.

The catalogue schema carries an access right on every record.
