The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI)
NET covers connectivity and communications continuity: the networks that every other system and every response depends on, and how they behave when parts fail.

Network Control System is the Nexus Foundry system for network topology, route integrity and communications readiness for continuity. It serves 6 platforms, among them Energy Nexus and Critical Infrastructure, and its stated limit is that it observes and plans; operators keep control of their networks. Access is through an authorized project with an accountable owner, data terms and a review plan.
Urban demand centres and the hubs that anchor digital and data infrastructure, shown for Nigeria as an example geography for this subject.
Data exchange, warnings and coordination all depend on connectivity that is itself exposed to power loss, cable cuts, congestion and attack. Continuity planning needs to know which paths exist, which are diverse and which are single points of failure.

Access requires an authorized project with an accountable owner, data terms and a review plan. Enquiries go to contact@therisk.global.
Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Route diversity | Physically separate paths for traffic so one cut does not stop all connections. |
| Single point of failure | A component or supplier whose loss stops a function because no substitute exists. |
| Mission-critical communications | Communications whose failure would endanger life or essential services, requiring high availability. |
The bodies and documents this page is read against. Status and editions change; each link goes to the issuing body.
The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
