01In brief

The short answer.

Signals Integrity Grid is the Nexus Foundry system for authorized spectrum monitoring and observation of signal and positioning integrity. It serves 4 platforms, among them Critical Infrastructure as well as Cybersecurity and Digital Resilience, and its stated limit is that there is no unauthorized collection. Access is through an authorized project with an accountable owner, data terms and a review plan.

02Geography

Digital demand and connectivity in Poland.

Urban demand centres and the hubs that anchor digital and data infrastructure, shown for Poland as an example geography for this subject.

04The problem it addresses

Shared timing and navigation signals are a hidden common dependency.

Satellite navigation timing synchronises grids, telecoms and payment systems; jamming, spoofing or space weather can disrupt them all at once. Spectrum interference can degrade warnings and observation. Few operators map this dependency.

  • Dependence on positioning, navigation and timing mapped by sector.
  • Interference detection and attribution.
  • Holdover and backup timing capacity.

Access requires an authorized project with an accountable owner, data terms and a review plan. Enquiries go to contact@therisk.global.

08Key terms

Terms used on this page.

Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.

TermDefinition
GNSSGlobal navigation satellite systems, such as GPS and Galileo, that provide positioning and timing.
JammingDeliberate transmission of signals that block reception of satellite signals.
SpoofingPlacing orders with the intent to cancel them before execution, to mislead others about supply or demand.

Is the system available now?
Allocations open when their terms and review capacity exist; the current service level is R0, information and enquiries.
