Rights and licences

This page explains the rights that apply to material on therisk.global, the website of The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI): text and figures, publications, datasets, software and material from other providers. Each kind has its own licence and limits, and the licence stated on an item is the one that applies. Where no licence is stated, you may read and cite the material with attribution, and other reuse needs permission. Requests go to contact@therisk.global. This notice is reviewed by counsel before publication.

06Questions

Questions and answers.

Can I reuse a GCRI figure in a presentation?
Yes, if the figure's licence allows it, with attribution. If no licence is stated, citation is fine and other reuse needs permission.
Are GCRI datasets open data?
Some may be, under the licence stated in each record. Others carry source restrictions that GCRI must respect.
Can I use the GCRI name or logo?
Not without permission. Participation in a programme does not grant a right to use the name or logo.
How do I report infringing material?
Write to the address on this page with the item, your rights and the evidence. It is reviewed, and the outcome is recorded.
